Weekly Parish news - November 17th, 2024

OUTREACH MINISTRY:
The Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday programs are now underway for the food pantry. We are asking for donations of ShopRite gift cards. Please place cards in an envelope in the offertory basket or you can drop them off at the Parish Office. Any questions please call Karole Bradunas 908-907-7765 Thank you for your support and generosity. 

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY:
You are invited to join us on the second and fourth Friday of the month at 10:15am in the Rectory Meeting Room. Beginner and experienced knitters welcomed! All items are donated to Nursing Homes, Soup Kitchens, Life Choices, Abused Women Shelter, Karen Ann Quinlin Hospice and Birth Haven in Newton. 

Bingo Volunteers are NEEDED! 
We are in need of volunteers for the food concession, food and dessert making, floor workers, donations of gift cards to ShopRite or paper goods. 
Father James would like to start Bingo two Sundays a month but he can only do this with the assistance of volunteers.  

If you are interested please contact the office for more information.  The more volunteers we have, you would only need to assist at Bingo once a month!

​Food Pantry Collection: 
We will be continuing the highly successful food pantry collection on the first full weekend of each month. The following is a list of suggested items for the weekend of December 7th and 8th.
Suggested items: 
Bar soap Grape jelly (squeeze bottles)
Body wash Coffee
Toothpaste Canned chicken
Toothbrushes
Deodorants
Mini pads
