Welcome Message
On September 1, 2023, after having submitted a formal request to our bishop, I began to serve in our parish in the role of Pastor. I have found that our parish has a beautiful liturgy, an excellent program for the religious education of our youth, a Knights of Columbus council for men and an Altar Rosary Society for women, as well as a knitting and crocheting club comprised of a group of marvelous ladies who call it their Prayer Shawl Ministry. I have assisting me, among others, two very fine deacons, one of whom has helped our O.C.I.A. (formerly called R.C.I.A.) program to flourish. We have excellent priests who offer us regular weekend assistance and a very vibrant and growing Hispanic/Latino community.
Our staff who assists with the day to day running of the parish are very user friendly. Certainly, you can imagine that it is a tremendous joy for me to be a part of such a kind and loving parish community.
If you’re new to the area or just looking to return to regular Mass attendance and participation in the life of a parish, I believe that you will find this to be a community where our Catholic Faith can truly flourish.
Sincerely in the Love of Christ,
Father James
Our Mission
Under the patronage of Saint Joseph, we the members of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, together with Catholics throughout the world and throughout our Church’s history, are united as members of one body with Christ Jesus our Lord as our Divine Head. As members of this one Body of Christ, we continue to proclaim that the Kingdom of God is at hand! This proclamation is expressed by providing education in the Faith among our members, witness to the Faith in our daily lives, service to others in the spirit of Christ Jesus, worship through participation in the Divine Liturgy and continued support of our parish, both temporal and spiritual. The efforts we make to fulfill this Divine mission are offered for the greater glory of God our Almighty Father in Christ Jesus our Lord!
